HOW DO I OPEN A FIRSTMETROSEC ONLINE TRADING ACCOUNT

1. Visit www.firstmetrosec.com.ph, and click on OPEN ACCOUNT. This will take you through a step-by-step process for your account opening.
   
   
    
2. Fill out all required information in the Customer Account Information Form.
3. Print out the three forms - Customer Account Information Form, Trading Agreement, Signature Cards; and sign on the necessary spaces provided.
4. Attach clear photocopies of 2 valid government-issued IDs.
5. Submit the completed forms and required documents:
   1. through mail or submit personally to the head office or any of the First Metro Investors Centers
   2. through the FirstMetroSec pouch (Pouch Code: 90033) at your Metrobank branch of account
      Note: The transit time of transfer from the Metrobank branch to the First Metro Securities head office may take seven (7) banking days.
6. First Metro Securities will send an email notification for account activation within two days after receipt of complete documents.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS IN OPENING AN ONLINE TRADING ACCOUNT?

Before sending the forms, kindly make sure that the client has affixed his/her signature on all the required forms.

The requirements needed are as follows:

1. Customer Account Information Form
2. Trading Agreement
3. Signature Cards

Other Requirements as needed:

• Tax Identification Number (TIN) is mandatory in filling up the application form for all applicants. If you do not have one yet, please request a TIN number at the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) branch in your area.
   
• Photocopy of any two (2) of the following IDs
  • Driver's License
  • Passport
  • SSS/GSIS ID
  • Senior Citizen's Card
  • Voter's ID
  • Government office ID
  • Philhealth Card
  • Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) ID
  • Seaman's Book
  • OFW ID
  • OWWA ID

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AMOUNT REQUIRED TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT?

For clients with a MetrobankDirect account, opening an online trading account is FREE.
